The Salmon QST Lux 92 is a great all-mountain ski for women who want a ski that feels at home both on and off the groomers. Narrow enough for making some awesome carves on firm snow, and wide enough to float through some soft snow, crud or slush, the QST Lux 92 is a fantastic ski for skiers that want to explore the entire resort. At 92 millimeters underfoot, it is designed for skiers who intend to stay on trail most of the time with the intentions of venturing into the trees or off piste terrain every now and again. Comprised of mostly camber, the QST Lux 92 boasts solid edge grip on piste, but a bit of tip and tail rocker provide good versatility and ease of maneuverability for pivoting and smearing your turns when needed. A poplar core keeps things light while a bit of Carbon, flax and basalt help add power to the ski without adding weight. Cork out if the tip of the ski reduces vibrations, so at higher speeds the ski feels very smooth and stable despite its light construction. This ski is a prime example of what we’d call an “everybody ski”. So many different skiers can hop on this thing and have a blast. It’s very approachable and is forgiving enough for a more conservative skier, but it holds up to the demands of a more aggressive skier as well. Over, the QST lux 92 is just a fun-loving all mountain ski that offers a very well-balanced performance for both a wide range of skiers and a wide range of conditions.
