With Venom back in New York City to get revenge on Spider-Man at any cost, this issue was one for the ages! Published June 10, 1989, this issue is from one of the greatest runs of Spider-Man comics ever: the McFarlane-Michelinie era.

Amazing Spider-Man #316 was written by David Michelinie and the iconic cover art is by Todd McFarlane. This comic cover has inspired many others, including Spawn Vol 1 #222.
